Getting
Around Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Croatia
Dubrovnik Croatia

  • DUBROVNIK BY FOOT

The only way to see Dubrovnik's Old Town (Stari Grad) is by foot as no cars are allowed within the walls.

  • DUBROVNIK BY CAR

If you plan to venture out and see the surrounding sites, no problems. Renting a car is easy as there are numerous Dubrovnik car rental agencies in the old town and at the airport.

  • DUBROVNIK BY BUS

The local Dubrovnik public transport is pretty good. Buses begin their runs around 5AM and end around midnight. Fare is about 10Kn if you buy from the driver or 8Kn from a kiosk (Tisak).

Buses for the airport leave 1 ½ hours before the flight and cost 30Kn.

  • DUBROVNIK BY TAXI

"Dubrovnik Taxis" are readily available at the airport and will cost you about 200Kn to get to town.

They can also be found at Gruz Harbour, Pile and Ploce gate as well as the bus station.

  • DUBROVNIK BY FERRY

A Dubrovnik ferry runs to the nearby Island of Lokrum. Local Buses #1a and #3 run from the ferry terminal and bus station to the Pile Gates. Fare is 7kn in advance or 10Kn onboard.
