Dubrovnik has excellent connections with regular flights to all major European cities and the USA, although a majority stopover in Zagreb along the way. Dubrovnik Airport is located in Cilipi, about 18 km from the heart of Durbovnik's Old Town (Stari Grad).
All arrivals are met by a Croatia Airlines bus which takes you the bus station where you can catch a local bus into Town. Travel time is about 20 minutes. Fare is 30kn each way.
For those preferring to take a taxi: You may be offered a price in advance, we recommend that you go by the meter.
If you can get to where you want to go on the Croatia coast by ferry, do it – cruising between the Islands and along the coast is amazing.
Dubrovnik is the southern most stop on the Jadrolinja ferry service, the most scenic routes being from Rijeka, stopping off at Rab, Split, Hvar and Korcula along the way.
Local Dubrovnik Ferry Services run daily to the Elphatie Islands and Mljet.
You can also travel to Dubrovnik Croatia by ferry from Bari, Italy.
There are excellent bus services to Dubrovnik from Austria, Italy, Germany, Hungary and Slovenia.
Most international buses go to either Zagreb or Split. From there you can reach Dubrovnik by domestic bus service.
