By Boat

Jadrolinija ferry services connect Zadar with Rijeka, Split, Korcula and Dubrovnik

International ferry services connect with Ancona

International Hydro craft services connect with Ancona (docking at Bozava)

Coastal Ferry services also connect with Pula (docking at Silba and Mali Losinj)

Local ferry services connect with Preko , Brbinj , Biograd-Tkon

By Train

Zadar is connected by railway line to Zagreb and the rest of Europe via a line to Knin.

There are four daily trains from Zagreb that continue on to Sibenik and Split.

By Car

The region is well connected by roads and easy to get to.

In the event of an accident or If you require mechanical assistance call HAK (the Croatian Automobile Club) 987 (for Croatia dial 01, if you are not in Croatia ++385 1), 24 hours a day.

Accident assistance includes:

  • Towing of deserted, abandoned and damaged vehicles up to 100 km.

  • Transport of deserted, abandoned and damaged vehicles up to 200 km.

By Bus

Busses connect Zadar to all the major western European cities, including Ljubljana, Trieste, Vienna, Zurich, Munich, Rotterdam and others.

There regular services to Rijeka (4.5hrs), Split (3hrs), Dubrovnik (6.5hrs) and Zagreb (5hrs).

The Zagreb bus passes by Plitvice lakes National Park and allows for some quick sightseeing.

By Air

Zemunik is Zadar’s International Airport.
