There are also regular domestic flights to and from Dubrovnik, Split, Pula and Rijeka.
Zagreb (Pleso) International Airport (ZAG) is located 17 km (11mi) from the centre of the city. A bus service connects to the city center's bus station (cost Kn 25), leaving every 30 minutes from outside the international arrivals hall.
There’s also taxi rank situated right outside the international arrivals.
Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz are among the rental agencies represented at the airport.
The airport facilities include banks, ATMs, restaurants, duty-free shops, a post office, tourist information kiosk, and 24-hour left luggage service.
There is no departure tax.
By Train
Trains connect Zagreb to Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia The Main Railway Station is located in the centre of the City (at Kralj Tomislav Square 12, a ten minute walk from the central city square).
By Bus
Buses run between Zagreb and several cities in Hungary and Germany, as well as to Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and Brussels (Belgium).
From the UK: There’s a daily bus from London which takes about 33 hours. The Central Bus Station is located on Marin Drzic Avenue, a few minutes by tram (line number 6) from the central city square.
By Car The Main international roads are: Trieste-Ljubljana-Zagreb, Graz-Maribor-Zagreb, Klagenfurt-Ljubljana-Zagreb, Budapest-Varazdin-Zagreb.
